CHICAGO (AP) -
Chicago will hold a World Cup viewing party in Soldier Field after previous
U.S. games drew tens of thousands to the city’s lakefront Grant Park.
U.S. Soccer and the
city plan a watch party on Tuesday afternoon at the stadium where the
Chicago Bears play. Soccer fans can watch the U.S. team take on Belgium.
Gates open at 1:30 p.m. and the match starts at 3 p.m.
Fans wildly waved
American flags and wore red, white and blue at Chicago watch parties in
recent weeks for this year’s World Cup.
The earlier U.S.
game against Portugal brought about 20,000 fans to Grant Park.
