Chesterton Volleyball sweeps Calumet

The Chesterton volleyball team swept a 25-6, 25-8, 25-15 victory from Calumet on Wednesday night.

Offensively, Jacklyn Moleski led the Trojans with eight kills. Jessica Urycki (7 kills), Sammi Ostrom (6 kills), Aubrey Nagdeman (5 kills) and Brittany Milzarek (4 kills) also contributed.

Kennedy Baltus had 12 assists in the win, while Shelby Snyder dished out 11. Nagdeman had eight assists.

Nagdeman also recorded a team-high four service aces and two block kills. Snyder, Jordyn Moleski and Ostrom all had two service aces.

Junior Varsity

Chesterton 25-25, Calumet 10-8

The Chesterton junior varsity cruised to a 25-10, 25-8 victory over Calumet.

Offensively, Kaitlin Kuypers recorded a team-best five kills. Abby Moon had three kills and Haley Notzen added two.

Caitlyn Toth had a team-high 10 assists.

On the service line, Kuypers had five aces with Lia Lombardini adding five aces as well. Taylor Eaton had two aces.

Defensively, Kuypers had six digs with Eaton and Notzen adding three digs each. Lombardini added two digs in the victory.
