Chesterton volleyball falls at Crown Point

The Chesterton volleyball team fell to 0-4 in Duneland Athletic Conference play with a 25-20, 25-17, 25-20 loss at Crown Point on Thursday.

Offensively, Taylor Bowser had 12 kills with McKenna Guernsey adding five kills. Caroline Parks recorded two kills in the loss.

Vivi Smilgius dished out 11 assists, while Maggie Vrahoretis added five helpers.

Defensively, Loran Lomardini led the way with 10 digs and Bowser added four digs. Vrahoretis tallied two digs.

At the net, Parks had four blocks and Smilgius had two blocks.

The Trojans return to the court on Tuesday when they host Portage. The JV game is set for 5 p.m.
