The Chesterton girls tennis team had little trouble Wednesday afternoon with
an impressive 5-0 victory over South Bend Clay.
In singles, Bobbi Modesto won at No. 1 6-0, 6-0 over Destiny Rieves, while
J.J. Lee won at No. 2 against Sarah Kilhase 6-0, 6-1. At No. 3, Sunny Lee
beat Casey Colvin 6-0, 6-0.
In doubles, Margaret Shinn and Meg Modesto beat Sarah Lindquist and Lynsie
Reygaert 6-2, 6-0 at No. 1. At No. 2, Rachel McCrum and Amanda Susnak
completed the sweep with a 6-1, 6-0 victory over Sydney Ezell and Hannah
Edwards.
The Trojans return to the court today when they play host to Valparaiso
beginning at 4:15 p.m.
