One night after
dropping its DAC opener, the Chesterton softball team came out mad.

out 16 hits and won their first road game of the season 12-0 at Griffith on

Benko picked up the
win in the pitching circle with three innings of work, recording seven
strike outs. Kelly Carr pitched the final two innings and struck out three.
“Lexi and Kelly
both pitched well,” Hopson said.
The Trojans return
to the field today when they host Hanover Central beginning at 5 p.m.

Kobailka went 3-for-4 and Hollie Skoczek was 2-for-2 with a pair of walks.
