It took a couple
innings to get going, but once they did the Chesterton Trojans had little
out 13 hits and scored 16 runs to stop a four-game losing streak and pick up
a 16-0 Duneland Athletic Conference victory over Michigan City on Wednesday.
“It just feels good
to get back in the win column after four losses,” Chesterton coach LouAnn
Hopson said. “It was important to get a win and kind of get going again.”

up the win by working four innings and striking out two. Lauren Anderson
pitched the seventh inning and struck out two.
“Kelly did a nice
job for us tonight,” Hopson said.
