The Chesterton girls tennis team improved to 14-2 on the year with a 4-1 victory over Culver Girls Academy on Friday.

The Trojans swept singles play with Meg Modesto remaining undefeated on the year with a 6-3, 6-3 win over Natalie Lopez-Yanez at No. 2 singles. Margaret Shinn beat Paulina Cano 6-4, 6-0 at No. 3 singles as well.

At No. 1, Bobbi Modesto beat Sonia Shen 6-3, 1-0 retired.

In doubles, Rachel McCrum and J.J. Lee beat Pita Navarro and Maria Solis 6-2, 6-1.
