The Chesterton girls swim team opened the 2012-2013 season in impressive fashion with a 150-27 victory at Highland on Thursday night.

Double individual winners for the Trojans included Julia Campbell in the 200 Free (1:55.17) and the 500 Free (5:09.50), Kate Curley in the 200 IM (2:10.39) and the 100 Back (1:00.67) and Vanessa Krause in the 50 Free (24.18) and the 100 Fly (57.02).

Other winners included Marita Banta-Long in the 100 Free (55.87), Kelly Craig in the 100 Breast (1:10.67) and Cheyanne Comer in 1-Meter Diving (161.55).

Chesterton also won all three relays with victories in the 200 Medley from the group of Stephanie Krause, Curley, Vanessa Krause and Madisyn Coudriet (1:52.35).

The Trojans also won the 200 Free Relay with Vanessa Krause, Coudriet, Craig and Campbell (1:41.34), while the 400 Free Relay quartet of Campbell, Kate Curley, Meagan Curley and Craig (3:40.26).
