The Chesterton girls swim team won three events en route to a victory at the Indianapolis North Central Panther Invitational on Friday.

The Trojans amassed 230.5 points to outlast Fishers (191.5), Indianapolis North Central (190) and Hamilton Southeastern (183).

Individual event winners included Kate Curley in the 200 IM (2:09.70) and Vanessa Krause in the 100 Fly (57.49). CHS also won the 400 Free Relay with the group of Krause, Curley, Julia Campbell and Kelly Craig (3:35.69).

Second-place finishers were Campbell in the 200 Free (1:54.95) and 500 Free (5:10.09), Krause in the 50 Free (24.11), Marita Banta-Long in the 100 Fly (1:01.36), Curley in the 100 Back (1:00.73) and Craig in the 100 Breast (1:10.62).

The Trojans were also runners-up in the 200 Medley Relay with the quartet of Stephanie Krause, Curley, Vanessa Krause and Madisyn Coudriet (1:51.58) and the 200 Free Relay with the group of Coudriet, Meagan Curley, Craig and Campbell (1:40.72).

Fourth-place finishers included Craig in the 200 Free (1:57.67), Cheyanne Comer in Diving (151.90), Coudriet in the 100 Free (55.10) and Banta-Long in the 500 Free (5:24.80).

The 400 Free Relay ‘B’ group of Banta-Long, Trenee Fancher-Keller, Abbey Hurst and Meagan Curley finished fourth in 3:44.99.
