The Chesterton boys track team battled its way to a 73-59 Duneland Athletic Conference victory over Crown Point on Tuesday night.

The lone double individual winner for the Trojans was Joe Troop with a victory in the 400 (50.16) and the 200 (22.44).

Other winners included Julian Raudry in the discus (123-5), Mason Chronowski in the high jump (5-10), Justin Zosso in the pole vault (15-0), Sean Matheny in the shot put (49-9), Richie Ruff in the 110 hurdles (15.79), Tyler Rusboldt in the 1600 (4:21.6), Austin Palombizio in the 800 (1:59.64) and Andrew Kearney in the 3200 (9:36.0).

The Trojans also won the 4x400 relay with the quartet of Troop, Archie Sullivan, Billy Biehl and Nick Barango in 3:26.6.

Second place performances came from Troop (long jump), Biehl (1600), Barango (400), Ruff (300 hurdles) and Rusboldt (800).

Third place finishers were Nick Raffin (pole vault), Patrick Freeze (shot put), Evan Mazurkiewicz (3200) and Sullivan (400).
