Lucas Sabedra must be getting bored.
Chesterton boys soccer team is undefeated and won the Class 3A IHSAA
Sectional title 5-0 at Portage on Saturday night.
“I think we have
taken a backseat throughout the tournament so far,” Sabedra said. “I told
them they had to be ready to play right away and get after it. The plan was
to score early and keep the pressure up.”
It took 11:39 for

the game he was going to get a hat trick,” Sabedra said with a laugh. “He’s
got an engine that never stops. He wants to go forward and score.”
