Chesterton Boys Golf falls by one shot

The Chesterton varsity came up one shot away from a pair of Duneland Athletic Conference victories on Tuesday.

Lake Central shot 159 to edge Valparaiso (160) and Chesterton (160) by one stroke. The Vikings beat the Trojans on fifth man score.

John Kelley and Eric Richardson each carded a 39, while Zach Von Huben and Kyle Krol both shot 41 for CHS. Michael Zondor rounded out the scoring with a 47.

The Chesterton junior varsity dropped a pair of decisions to Valparaiso and Lake Central on Tuesday.

Gabe Davis led the Trojans with a 41, while Colton Bogich shot 47. Eli Winski (53), Justin Sellers (53) and Matt Keator (55) rounded out the scoring.
