The Chesterton boys tennis team improved to 4-3 in Duneland Athletic
Conference with a 4-1 victory at Merrillville on Tuesday.
The Trojans got victories in singles from Trey Moffett 6-0, 6-1 over Sam
Dinka at No. 2, while Conner Kuhnle beat Mike Spicknall 6-0, 6-0 at No. 3.
In doubles, Ryan Sears and Remy Hoang won at No. 1 over Alex Swierc and Ron
Mayersky 6-4, 5-7, 6-4 with Brent Sergent and Brady Wade winning at No. 2
against Montriel Shell and Micah Burgstahler 6-3, 7-5.

Jayasuriya and Tristen Manuzsak on its way to a 7-0 win over Merrillville.
In doubles, Trojan victors included Christian O’Brien and Tom McGue, James
Jewison and Nate Dickinson, Colton Carter and Tanner Fowler and Fred Owens
and Conner Archbald.
