
On to the State Fair: Liberty Hot Shots 4-H Club member

Champion 4-hers: Aris Ringas, (left) a CHS senior, and
her sister Britta, a CHS sophomore, have both been doing very well in the
judging of their 4-H projects at this year’s Porter County 4-H Fair. Aris, a
Reserve Achievement Ambassador, earned Grand Champion in Flowers, as well as
two Reserve Champion awards. All three of her floral arrangements will go on
to the State Fair. She also won Reserve Grand Champion in the Barbeque
competition and Reserve Champion in Photography and Salon Print, as well as
Sewing. Britta was a Reserve Champion in Sewing as well and earned A honors
in Music and Foods and won Champion with her dog in 5B Obedience Class, third
in Sr. Dog Showmanship and 6th in Advanced B Dog Agility Class. Both girls
