
Llamas on Display at Porter County Fair:
4-H member
Matthew Zupan of Jackson Township is pictured showing off his pet Llama
Calico. Many of the animals will be arriving daily for the public to check
out with judging on all days in different categories. Also many 4-H exhibits
will be on display in the expo buildings off the midway. Matthew is going to
be a freshman at Chesterton High School this fall.

Sisters Show Dogs: The 155th Annual Porter County Fair
opened on Thursday afternoon. Dogs were among the first animals to be on
display and judged in the show arena. Pictured are two Jackson Township
residents and members of 4-H, Elise Gustafson and her sister Chelsea,
showing off their pet dogs before competition. Elise is an 8th grader at CMS
and is holding her pet Westie named Abby and Chelsea is a sophomore at CHS
and is holding her Brussels Griffen named Libby. Sitting in front is their
pet Doberman named Mia. The girls parents are Tim and Debbie.

4-H Judging Underway: 4-H member Gabriella Didonna, a
student at Liberty Intermediate School, prepares to show her pet German
Shepherd named Noah. Judging began on opening night of the 155th Annual
Porter County Fair on Thursday evening. The fair continues through Saturday,
July 30 with new animals being judged daily. Gabriella is 11 years old and
