Burns Harbor Police
are investigating the theft early Monday morning of multiple cases of
whiskey from a semi-tractor trailer parked at the Pilot Travel Center, 243
U.S. Highway 20.
police, at 4:45 a.m. a trucker employed by Kriska Transport of Ontario,
Canada, parked his rig at the Pilot to use the restroom. On returning to his
truck, at 5:22 a.m., he observed a light-colored, older model minivan parked
at the rear of his trailer with two subjects out of the vehicle.
