A Westville man has died from injuries sustained on Friday, June 13, in a
motorcycle accident on Ind. 2 in Washington Township, the Porter County
Sheriff’s Police said.
Sgt. Larry LaFlower confirmed today that Jeremy A. Wier, 39, died on
Wednesday at Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, Ill.
According to police, at 10:40 p.m. Wier and his wife, Karry, 41, riding
behind him, were eastbound on Ind. 2, 200 feet north of Old Ind. 2, when
Wier “suddenly lost control” of his 1998 Suzuki VS 1400 Series “for no
