A LaPorte man was arrested on Friday afternoon on a charge of child solicitation, the Indiana State Police said.

According to police, Christopher Albin, 23, was taken into custody without incident at his residence and transported to the LaPorte County Jail.

Albin’s arrest stems from an investigation by the Citrus County, Fla., Sheriff’s Department, after receiving allegations that Albin was having an inappropriate on-line relationship with a 14-year-old girl in its jurisdiction.
