State Police investigate alleged sexual assault by LCSP officer

Back To Front Page

The Indiana State Police is investigating a Lake County Sheriff’s Police officer alleged to have committed an act of sexual assault.

This is an on-going investigation, the ISP said in a statement released on Monday. “When the investigation is completed it will be given to the proper prosecution authority.”

Neither the name of the suspect or of the alleged victim will be released, the ISP added, as sexual-victims are routinely not identified and nor are suspects “barring a compelling public safety interest.”
