CHICAGO (AP) — The Chicago Skyway was shut down for nearly two hours as police investigated a report of two suspects firing at vehicles entering the toll road.

The shootings occurred late Wednesday on the city’s far South Side, near the Illinois-Indiana state line.

Chicago police spokesman Officer Daniel O’Brien says the shootings occurred around 9 p.m., striking at least six vehicles. Authorities say no one was injured in the shootings. Police say two suspects positioned themselves on an on-ramp to Interstate 90 at Indianapolis Blvd. and 105th St.

No one has been arrested in connection with the shootings.
