No one was injured and no one cited in a crash involving a Duneland Schools bus this morning, Porter County Sheriff’s Police said.

According to police, at approximately 7:53 a.m. Sheriff’s deputies received a report of a crash on southbound Ind. 49 just north of U.S. 6 in Liberty Township. Police said a southbound car in front of a Duneland Schools bus “kicked up” a reflector off of the road, and the reflector then went through the front windshield and a side window of the bus.

Police report there were three students on the bus at the time of the crash, and EMS found no one was injured, though glass from the broken windows got on two of the students.
