The Portage branch
of Chase Bank was robbed on Wednesday by an armed man, Portage Police said.
No one was injured
in the robbery.

an undetermined amount of currency, the suspect left the bank, heading east
on foot to the Breckenridge Apartments, where he was seen entering a black
Dodge Charger. The Charger fled the scene eastbound on Lute Road.
The suspect was
described as a white male, aged 20 to 30, approximately 6’ 0’’ in height,
wearing a ball cap and a Chicago Bears sweatshirt. Investigators believe the
Dodge Charger was occupied by two other subjects, one of them a female; and
that all three were at the Wal-Mart prior to the robbery.
