Porter County Coroner Chuck Harris today identified the victim as Brian N. Bradford, 46, of Minford, Ohio.

According to police, at 9:58 p.m. Bradford had just visited a nearby gas station and was walking east in the 2100 block of U.S. 20, along the south shoulder, when he was struck from behind by an eastbound vehicle.
