A trucker crashed her rig in the middle of a “sneezing fit” on Sunday on I-65 in Lake County, the Indiana State Police said.

According to police, at 6:20 p.m. Julie Duncan, 55, of Canton, Mich., was southbound on I-65, when in a construction zone near the Crown Point exit, she “had a ‘sneezing fit’ while trying to talk to Siri on her phone.” On looking up, Duncan noticed that she was about to collide with some construction barrels and swerved sharply in an attempt to avoid them, causing the cleaning solution she was carrying in her tanker-trailer to shift and roll her rig, police said.

“The cleaning solution had to be off-loaded into another tanker before the semi-tanker could be up-righted,” police said. “The right lane was closed for approximately eight hours.”

Duncan--who was wearing her seatbelt and escaped injury--was issued a citation for unsafe lane movement, police said.
