A motorcyclist died
early Sunday morning when he lost control of his bike and hit an
informational sign on I-80/94 in Lake Station, the Indiana State Police
The victim was
identified as Keith Taylor, 58, of Lakeland, Fla.
police, at 4:10 a.m. Taylor was eastbound on I-80/94 with several other
motorcyclists when they missed their exit for I-65. Police said that Taylor,
operating the lead motorcycle in the group, a 2016 Indian, was attempting to
exit onto southbound Ripley Street for a turn-around when he cut back across
the white-lined gore area, lost control, entered a grassy area separating
the Ripley Street ramp from I-80/94, and hit an informational sign.
