A LaPorte County
council member has been charged with residential entry, the Indiana State
Police is reporting.
According to the
ISP, LaPorte County Council Member John Sullivan, 57, of Wanatah,
voluntarily surrendered himself at the LaPorte County Jail on Friday,
following an ISP investigation which began in May.
preliminary stages of the investigation, it was discovered that the suspect
is an elected councilman in LaPorte County,” ISP said. “During the course of
the three-months long investigation, it was revealed that Mr. Sullivan was
seen entering a residence that was not his own in the town of Wanatah.”
