Department of Transportation’s LaPorte District will hold a public hearing
on Thursday, March 23, on a proposed roundabout at the intersection of Ind.
2, C.R. 100S, and C.R. 300W in Porter Township, approximately four miles
southwest of U.S. Highway 30 in Valparaiso.

will be held at 6 p.m. at the Boone Grove High School cafeteria, 260S 500W.
“The purpose of the
public hearing is to offer all interested persons an opportunity to comment
on current design plans” for the roundabout, INDOT said.

approximately four acres of new permanent right-of-way with the potential of
a residential displacement located northwest of the intersection. Additional
project information will be presented during the public hearing.”
