Hebron Smoke Shop robbed at gunpoint

The Hebron Police Department is seeking the public’s help in identifying the man who robbed the Smoke Shop at gunpoint on Friday.

According to police, at 12:03 p.m. a male subject entered the store, located at 52 Nichols St., displayed a silver revolver, and demanded money.

He then fled the scene in a late model white Buick passenger car.

The HPD described the suspect as a white male, approximately 5’ 10’’ in height and 180 pounds in weight, wearing a baseball hat, black-rimmed glasses, blue jeans, and a dark-colored jacket with a tan collar.

The HPD said that the suspect should be considered armed and dangerous and should not be approached.

Anyone with information on the suspect or the robbery is asked to call the HPD at (219) 996-2727.
