A Gary man charged with multiple felonies in connection with the alleged
molestation of two girls has surrendered himself, the Indiana State Police
According to the ISP, David Urbaszewski, 33, turned himself in to the Lake
County Sheriff’s Police on Thursday afternoon.
Urbaszewski was charged on Feb. 28 with 11 felonies following an
investigation launched by the Sullivan County Sheriff’s Police after two
girls under the age of 15 relocated from Gary to Sullivan County, where they
told a family member that they had been abused by Urbaszewski.
Urbaszewski is charged with two counts of incest, a Class B felony; four
counts of child molesting, also a Class B felony; one count of criminal
deviate conduct, a Class B felony; two counts of confinement, a Class C
felony; and two counts of intimidation, a Class D felony.
