A motorist and her three passengers escaped a rollover with minor injuries today on I-65 in Jasper County, the Indiana State Police said.

According to police, at 7 a.m. Keyesha N. Dickerson, 22, of Aurora, Ill., was northbound in the left lane of I-65 when, four miles north of the Wolcott/Remington exit, she hit a pothole, which caused her to lose control of her 2011 Chevrolet Aveo.

Police said that Dickerson veered into the right lane, returned to the left, over-corrected, and left the roadway. In the grassy median the Chevy bottomed out and began rolling until, after a three-quarters turn it hit a cable barrier system and stopped, rolling back onto its hood.

Dickerson and her passengers--all of whom were wearing seatbelts--were able to walk away from the scene with minor to no injuries.

Dickerson, who complained of neck pain, was taken to Jasper County Hospital in Rensselaer. She was also issued a citation for driving while suspended-infraction, police said.
