-- An accident has killed a construction worker at BP’s sprawling
northwestern Indiana oil refinery.
BP says a contract
worker was injured Wednesday at its Whiting refinery and later pronounced
dead. The company said it’s investigating the accident’s cause, but did not
release any details on the accident or how the man died.
Michael Abendoff says the company’s “thoughts go out to his family and
co-workers during this difficult time.”
