The United States Marshals Service’s Great Lakes Fugitive Task Force names Cameron Leezell Taylor as its Fugitive of the Week.

Taylor is a black male, 26, 5’ 11’’ in height and 150 pounds in weight.

Taylor is one of the U.S. Marshals Top 15 Most Wanted Fugitives and has been a fugitive from justice since July 2009. He is wanted by the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office in Arizona on charges of attempted murder (four counts); aggravated assault (four counts); endangerment; assisting a criminal street gang; and unlawful flight to avoid prosecution.

The Fugitive Task Force is calling Taylor a “violent” Vista Bloods gang member, said he “has no regard for human life,” and alleged that, in March 2009, Taylor along with other Vista Bloods gang members attempted to take the life of four rival gang members during a drive-by shooting in broad daylight. “As a result, an innocent man was struck by a stray bullet in the back of the head and killed as he was driving with his nephew to get lunch,” the Fugitive Task Force said.

Taylor is known to have close ties to the Gary area and could be hiding out in Northwest Indiana.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Cameron Leezell Taylor may contact Fugitive Task Force investigators by calling toll-free (888) 805-6119 or by texting “capture” to Tip411 (847411). All tipsters will remain anonymous.
