A Hebron man died early this morning in a one vehicle accident on C.R. 600W in Union Township, the Porter County Sheriff’s Police said.

Police identified the victim as Bradley J. Hultmark, 22.

According to police, at approximately 2:27 a.m. Hultmark was southbound on C.R. 600W, in the area of C.R. 46N, when for an unknown reason he lost control of his 2001 Pontiac Trans Am, crossed the center line, and left the roadway to the east. His car then rolled over and struck a tree, police said.

Hultman was pronounced dead at the scene and an autopsy has been scheduled.

Police said that accident reconstructionists are still investigating the crash and that it is unknown at this time whether alcohol was a factor. The results of a routine toxicology screen are pending.
