$3K reward for info on Valpo serial robber

A reward of up to $3,000 is being offered for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the man responsible for five armed robberies in less than two months in Valparaiso. All five robberies occurred between the hours of 5:30 p.m. and midnight.

The first two occurred on Nov. 22 and Dec. 2, both at the Valpo Quik Trip at 360 W. Lincolnway; the third, on Dec. 15, at Buz’s Liquor Store at 1805 Lincolnway; the fourth, on Dec. 18, at Save Gas Station at 908 Roosevelt Road; and the fifth, on Jan. 13, at Ribordy Liquors at 1665 Morthland Ave.

In each robbery a black male entered the business, displayed a handgun, and demanded cash.

He has been described as being between 5’ 7’’ and 5’ 9’’ in height with a medium build. In each robbery the suspect has worn white tennis shoes and a hooded sweatshirt, gray in color with a red-and-white dotted pattern, with the legend “G Unit Company” written across the front.
