Valparaiso Police are investigating the armed robbery on Thursday of the Cold Stone Creamery at 72 S. Silhavy Road.

According to police, at 8:53 a.m. two male subjects wearing ski masks entered the closed business and demanded cash of the lone employee. One of the suspects reportedly displayed a handgun.

The two then fled the store in an unknown direction with an undetermined amount of cash.

The employee described one of the suspects as 6’ 2’’ in height and the other as 5’ 9’’. They were both wearing black coats and blue jeans.

The robbery remains under investigation.
