The Northwest Indiana Division of Pathway Family Center has announced the
opening of larger offices at a new location in Chesterton: 425 Sand Creek
Drive, Suite C.
The move represents Phase II of Pathway’s strategic growth plan in Duneland.
“The expanded Chesterton office will provide a larger, centralized location
for families in Northwest Indiana and the Chicagoland area that are needing
substance abuse services for adolescents,” said Dan Franz, program director
for the Chesterton office.
The Northwest Indiana Pathway Board thanked a number of local businesses and
their management for the donation of materials, time, and expertise in the
construction of the new offices: Gus Brown with BP Products North America;
Michelle Green of Allied Therapeutic Services; Theresa Valade with The Growth
Coach; Ed Smith with Superior Construction Inc.; Mark Markovich with Mark I
Homes; Ken Williams with F.C. Tucker Commercial NW; and Kramer & Leonard
Office Products.
Strong financial support from the Porter County Substance Abuse Council, the
Community Action Drug Coalition, the Porter County Commissions, Superior
Construction, and two anonymous donors enabled Pathway to begin operations in
Chesterton in June 2007.
