A Wheatfield man has been sentenced to 15 years in prison for his role in the drug conspiracy jointly investigated by Porter County, Jasper County, and federal law enforcement agencies.

Christopher Krug, 32, was also sentenced to 15 years of supervised release after pleading guilty to conspiracy to manufacture and distribute 500 grams or more of methamphetamine in the case U.S. v. Kasper et al., prosecuted by the U.S. Attorney for the Northern District of Indiana.

The case was investigated by the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration, the Porter County Sheriff’s Office, the Porter County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office, the Valparaiso Police Department, the Kouts Police Department, and the Jasper County Sheriff’s Police.
