Gerald Thomas Potts, of Winona Lake, Ind., died Tuesday, August 7, 2001 at Mason Health Care, Warsaw, Ind. He was 62.

He was born July 31, 1939 in Chesterton, the son of Thomas and Alice (Edmon) Potts.

He is survived by four daughters, Christine Coon, Maria Potts and Lisa Potts, all of Warsaw, Pamela McAfoose, of Silver Lake, Ind.; a son, James Potts, of Warsaw, five grandchildren; a sister Sharon Potts.

He was a 1957 graduate of Chesterton High School and a U.S. Army Veteran. He was employed as a production employee at Spartech, Inc. in Warsaw and was a member of Warsaw American Legion Post 49.

Funeral services, Pastor Doug Vogel officiating, are scheduled at 11 a.m. Friday at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw. Interment will be at Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.

Visitation is scheduled from 4-8 p.m., Thursday at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, 2290 Provident Court, Warsaw.

Memorials may be sent to Kosciusko County Cancer Fund.
