Visitation Thursday for Aaron Heffron, age 27

Aaron Heffron, "Dirty Boy", age 27 of Westville, IN, passed away on June 17, 2020.

He was born on July 7, 1992, to Michael and Debra Heffron (nee Smith) in Munster, IN.

Aaron grew up in Chesterton, IN. He was a graduate of Chesterton High School. He went to Ivy Tech Vocational School for welding in the afternoons. Aaron went on to complete the apprenticeship program for Iron Workers Local 395 and steadily worked for them.

Aaron is survived by his father and mother; two brothers, Michael (Cindy) Heffron and Christopher (Heather) Heffron; niece Emma Heffron; nephew, Stephen Heffron; grandmother, Betty Smith; several aunts, uncles and cousins and his girlfriend Christine Jackson. He also leaves behind friends, Scott Fritz, Mark and Heather Hutnick, Tyler Naillieux, John Hood and too many more to mention. He loved them all like family.

He was preceded in death by his childhood friend Jacob Pinkham.

Aaron would light any room he walked into and loved to live life to the fullest. He was crazy about his two dogs Mia and Athena. He was a wonderful friend who always would lend a helping hand. Aaron loved his career and was proud to be an iron worker. Aaron had a great love for the outdoors. He always was happiest outside.

Visitation will be held Thursday, June 25, 2020, from 4:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m., with a Sharing of Memories at 7:00 p.m., at Edmonds & Evans Funeral Home, 517 Broadway, Chesterton, IN 46304.
