Swickard, age 92 of Valparaiso, IN, passed away suddenly on September 16,
He was born on
August 16, 1928, in Scotland, IL, to Everett and Gladys Swickard, both of
whom preceded him in death.
On October 18,
1950, he married the love of his life, Lillian Swickard, who preceded him in
death in 2018.
He is survived by
his loving children: Darrell (Sheliah) Swickard of Chesterton, IN, Rodney
(Jennifer) Swickard of Valparaiso, IN, Cindy (Tom) Corzan of Chesterton, IN,
Tammie (Kerry) Fero of Porter, IN, and Terry (Caren) Swickard of Valparaiso,
IN; his twenty-two grandchildren; and by his twenty-five

He was an active member of St. Johnís United Church of Christ. Charles

Church, 225 W. Lincoln Ave., Chesterton, IN, with Reverend Aaron Ban
officiating. The family will receive friends on Monday, from 10 a.m. until
time of service, at the church. Burial will follow at Chesterton Cemetery.
