On August 7, 2002, he married Karen Koss. Jeffery and Karen lived in Chesterton, IN.

Karen is proud that Jeff chose to be a life donor.

He was a member of Lions Club of Chesterton. Jeff had a love for helping others, doing anything he could to make people's lives easier. Included helping with the men's shelter at church, Rebuilding Together and just too much to mention. He loved camping with Karen and his family. It didn't matter if it was hiking, canoeing, biking or just sitting by the fire. Jeff loved being with his family and thanking God for His gifts.

Jeff was a farmer at heart and grew up farming with his father. His love continued though out his life. He shared his love of farming and farm equipment with his grandchildren. He loved yard work and being outside.

Due to the world events, the Harper Family is having a private memorial service for Jeff. There will be a Live Stream link given to friends and family.

Arrangements handled by Edmonds & Evans Funeral Home, 517 Broadway, Chesterton, IN. Online condolences may be made to the family at www.ee-fh.com.
