Richard F. Lipniskis passes away at age 64

Richard F. Lipniskis, age 64, of Tavares, FL passed away suddenly on June 14, 2019.

He was born March 18, 1955 in Valparaiso, IN, to Bruno and Jean (Kempa) Lipniskis.

Richard is survived by his wife Tina Lipniskis of Tavares, FL, and his two children Bruno (Haley) Lipniskis of Cocoa, FL, and Lee Lipniskis of Denver, CO, and stepson Christopher Hohman of Battle Creek, MI. Brothers Terry (Rose) Lipniskis and Paul Lipniskis of Chesterton, IN, Nephew Adam (Molly) Waldier, Niece’s Sarah (Richard) Hollaway, Cortney (Ryan) Konopasek, Renee (Jayson) Jefferies, and Taylor Lipniskis.

He was preceded in death by his parents Bruno and Jean Lipniskis and sister-in-law Vickie Lipniskis.

Richard graduated from Chesterton High School in 1973, then continued his education, obtaining an Associate’s Degree in Industrial Engineering in 1988 and a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Management in 1992. He worked as a Quality Control Manager, Manufacturing Manager for most of his career in the northern part of Indiana when in 2017 he moved to Tavares, FL, to prepare for his retirement and landed a job as an Industrial Engineer at Spencer Fabrication in Tavares, FL, to have some income to support his favorite past time which was fishing all the lakes in the area where he lived until his unexpected death.

He was a member of Saint Patrick’s church when he resided in Chesterton. When Richard was younger he was into old cars and motorcycles, fishing and hunting. As he got older he did more fishing and spending time with his family and friends. He will be missed by many family members and friends.

His private memorial took place in Cocoa, FL on June 20th.
