William “Bill”
Leasure, 68, of San Antonio, TX, passed away on Wednesday, September 11,
2019.
He was born on
August 7, 1951 in Gary, IN, the son of William T. Leasure and Mary Lou (Moy)
Leasure, both of whom preceded him in death. His wife, Rose (Hamilton)
Leasure also preceded him in death.
He is survived by
his five children, Shelli (Butch) Shreve, Jamie Bartelheim, Billie (Jeremy)
Bender, Erik Hamilton and Angela Hamilton. Grandchildren Shelbey Bartelheim,
Mackenzie Trumble, Johnathan Butler, Zachary Bartelheim, Riley Shreve,
Jackson Bender and Conner Bender. Great-grandchildren Aurora Daniels, Roman
Green and Weston Bartelheim. He is also survived by his brothers, Tom (Joellyn)
Leasure, Cliff (Janet) Leasure, sisters, Susan Thompson, Sandra Leasure-Alvarez
and Sharon Leasure-Brown.
Bill worked and
retired from the Galvanized Department at Midwest Steel. He was a great guy,
loving father and grandfather. He was very talented, creative and artistic.
He will be greatly missed.
A Celebration of
Life will take place on Friday, October 11, 2019, from 5 p.m.-7 p.m., at the
Masonic Lodge, 902 W Lincoln Ave. Chesterton, IN 46304. A short service will
begin at 7 p.m.
