Services Thursday for Pamela Dawn Parks

Pamela “Neezy” Dawn Parks, age 70 of Valparaiso, IN, returned to her heavenly home on Saturday, July 28, 2018.

She was born on November 13, 1947 in Valparaiso, IN, to Carl and Betty (Meyne) Sitar.

She was married to Harley R. Parks Jr., who survives of Valparaiso, IN.

She is also survived by her daughter, Lisa Marie Alcock (fiancŽe, Jon); grandson, Henry Alcock and son-in-law, Jim Alcock.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Keith, Russell and Jeffrey Sitar, and sister, Sandra Collins.

Pammy was a lifelong Valparaiso resident and a member of First United Methodist of Portage. She enjoyed bowling, cross stitching, playing bunco but most of all, she enjoyed spending time with the love of her life, her grandson, Henry.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, August 2, 2018, at 1:00 p.m., at Edmonds & Evans Funeral Home, Portage Chapel, 6941 Central Ave., Portage, IN, 46368. Burial will follow at Heritage Cemetery, Portage, IN.

Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, August 2, 2018, from 11:00 a.m. until time of service.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The American Cancer Society.
