June A. Knoth (nee Roeske), age 93, of West Bend, WI, formerly of Porter, IN, passed away on Sunday, December 31, 2017.

She was born June 5, 1924, in Michigan City, Indiana.

June is survived by her son Russell (Rose Marie) Knoth of Germantown, WI; daughter Ruth (Lloyd, Jr.) Samplawski of Valparaiso, IN; grandchildren Renee Stolowski, Robert Knoth, Barbara Palansky, and Lloyd Samplawski III; great-grandchildren Dallas, Kyra, Nathaniel, Maxwell, and Jacek.

She was preceded in death by her husband James O. Knoth; parents Otto and Alvina Roeske; son Ray Allen Knoth; grandchildren Michelle, Margaret, and Michael; great-grandchildren Tasha, and Jensen; brother Otto Roeske, Jr.; sisters Helen Klukas, and Ruth Roeske.

June was a homemaker. She loved camping with her grandchildren and traveling around the United States with her husband. The family would like to express their appreciation for the care given by the staff at Cedar Bay East Assisted Living and Cedar Hospice.

Visitation for family and friends will take place on Monday, January 8, 2018, from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m., at Geisen-Carlisle Funeral Home, 613 Washington St., Michigan City, IN.

Funeral Services will be held on Monday, January 8, 2018, at 1:00 p.m., at Geisen-Carlisle Funeral Home with Pastor William Fine of St. John’s United Church of Christ officiating.

Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery.

Expressions of sympathy in memory of June may be given to St. John’s United Church of Christ Memorial Fund.
