Roberta Lynn Nale, age 74
of Porter, passed away on March 26, 2018, at her home.
She was born on September
22, 1943, in Alamogordo, New Mexico, to Robert and Doris Nystrom, both of
whom preceded her in death.
Roberta is survived by her
children: Paul (Darlene) Nale of Michigan City, IN, and Jamie Copollo of
Chesterton, IN; her grandchildren: Colin, Zachary, Jade, and Anthony; her
step-grandchildren: Brittany and Christopher; her siblings: Bonnie Mutton of
Idaho Falls, ID, and Nikki Nystrom of South Bend, IN; her nieces: Lisa and
Diana; her nephew, Robert; her former husband, William Nale; a “second
daughter,” Vicki Autenrieth; and her best friend, Mary Ellen Hofer.
Roberta was a surgical
nurse at Franciscan St. Anthony Health in Michigan City for many years. She
was an exquisite painter who specialized in oil and landscape paintings, and
loved attending art fairs. She also bowled at Westchester Lanes for many
years.
The family will receive
friends for a Memorial Visitation on Tuesday, April 3, 2018, from 1 p.m.
until 5 p.m., at White-Love Funeral Home, 525 South 2nd Street, Chesterton,
IN.
