Glade Richard Fuller passes away at age 90

Glade Richard Fuller, 90, died Sunday, September 23, 2018, at his home in Chesterton, IN.

He was born January 29, 1928, in Lim—n, Costa Rica.

He was the dedicated father of six children and grandfather to ten grandchildren. He served in the US Army during World War II. Glade earned a degree in Engineering from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio, and worked as a Civil Engineer for Conrail for 35 years. Glade was also a Scout Master for Troop 4 in Liberty Township. He earned the Order of the Arrow and continued throughout his life promoting the scouting ideals of selfless leadership and service to others. True to his oath, he spent much of his time maintaining and mowing untended grave sites throughout Porter County with his sons. Glade Richard Fuller was also an avid golfer, hunter, and outdoorsman.

He is survived by his sons, Benjamin Fuller (Chesterton, IN), John Fuller (Newport, RI), Mike Fuller, (Yuma, AZ), and his daughters, Jayne Fuller (Chesterton, IN) and Dr. Tova Fuller (San Francisco, CA).

He was preceded in death by his son, Glade Samuel Fuller, and his granddaughter, Amber Lynn Jordan-Thomas.

A private memorial will be held in Conneautville, PA.
