Services Thursday for Nathan Tyler Legler, 19

Nathan Tyler Legler, 19, of Westville, passed away suddenly on Saturday, March 25, 2017.

He was born February 16, 1998, in Munster, IN, to Randy and Sherry (Sambor) Legler.

Nathan was a 2016 graduate of Washington Twp. High School and was currently attending Northwood University in Michigan. He was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, Chesterton. From early on, Nathan had a passion for baseball. He loved to pitch and with his teams, played at Cooperstown and at the Cal Ripken World Series in Baltimore, MD. He was also very business minded and one of the most creative individuals, operating an online business with his brother, Kyle and best friend, Alec Emmons. Nathan also enjoyed computers and cars, but most of all he loved spending time with his family and friends.

Nathan is survived by his parents, Randy and Sherry Legler; brother, Kyle Legler; sister, Megan (Niko) Kornau; nephew, Benjamin Legler; grandparents, Walter and Carol Sambor; grandmother, Beverly Legler; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Richard F. Legler.

Visitation will be Wednesday, from 3:00-7:00 p.m., at Moeller Funeral Home, 104 Roosevelt Rd., Valparaiso, and Thursday at Church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.

Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, March 30, 2017, at 11:00 a.m., at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 106 E. 1100 N., Chesterton. Cremation will take place following services at Angelcrest Crematory.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are requested to St. Paul Lutheran Church, Chesterton.
