Ruth A. “Corky”
Johnson, 87, of Valparaiso passed away Thursday, April 6, 2017.
She was born July
12, 1929, in East Gary, IN, to Carl and Mary Ellen (Cooper) DeHaven.
from Jackson Township High School and worked at JCPenney and TJ Middle
School in Valparaiso. She enjoyed playing cards with family and friends, but
her true passion was feeding and taking care of her family. Corky will be
remembered as a loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother, and great

She is survived by

(Jeff) Ofman, Rebecca (Doug) Barach, and Jessica Andrews;

Laura (Henry) Moser, and Marian (Clarence) Lambert.
A funeral service
will be held on Tuesday, April 11, 2017, at 11:00 a.m., at Moeller Funeral
Home, 104 Roosevelt Road, Valparaiso, with burial to follow at Graceland
