Mitchell 'Wayne' Bobrowski passes away at age 58

Mitchell “Wayne” Bobrowski, 58, of N. Little Rock, Arkansas, and formerly of Chesterton, passed away unexpectedly on May 12, 2017.

Wayne was born July 6, 1958, in Gary, IN, to Mitchell and Martha (Michaels) Bobrowski.

Wayne graduated from Chesterton High School in 1976. After graduation he attended vocational school for mechanics and worked as a mechanic in the area. He later joined the Navy and served aboard the USS Nimitz. He then returned home to Indiana and worked for the EJ &E railroad as a boilermaker and was later transferred to the Union Pacific in Little Rock. He also became a Master Diver. Recently Wayne started his own business, Wayne’s Recycling.

Wayne was preceded in death by his father.

He is survived by his wife and love of his life for 20 years, Mary.

Wayne is also survived by his mother, Martha (Michaels) Bobrowski; sons Douglas (Cynthia) Bobrowski, of Baraboo, Wisconsin, and Andrew Bobrowski, of Valparaiso; granddaughter Rhianna Bobrowski, of Baraboo, WI, step-son James Carrel, of Dallas, TX, step-daughter Jennifer (Zachary) Chwalinski, of N. Little Rock, AK. He also leaves behind a sister, Linda (Michael) Appelman of Chesterton, a nephew Shaun Appelman, of Tucson, AZ, and niece Shallamar (Denis) Secaida, of Chesterton.

A service will be held July 14, 2017, at the Veterans Cemetery, in Sherwood, Arkansas, at 10 a.m.
